Jimmy Merzouk Foreign Language Scholarship Fund

  • All applicants for this scholarship must:
  • Be a citizen of Braxton County
  • Be a 12th grader at Braxton County High School *
  • Have at least a 3.0 grade point average
  • Complete an application and submit no later than APRIL 15 to:
    • Braxton County High School Guidance Office
      200 Jerry Burton Drive
      Sutton, WV 26601
  • Plan to attend, full-time, 4 year West Virginia College or University and major in a foreign language
  • Be a deserving person, of good, moral character, who has enthusiasm and interest in education and who has contributed to the school, church, and community with a determination to succeed.

Note: If no Braxton student applies, consideration will be given to students from other West Virginia Counties.
